Introduction

International Symposium on Multispectral Image Processing and Pattern Recognition(MIPPR) is an international academic conference orgnized by the international society for Optical Engineering (SPIE) and China, which has successfully held eight sessions (1998.Wuhan; 2001.Wuhan; 2003.Beijing; 2005.Wuhan; 2007.Wuhan; 2009.Yichang, 2011.Guilin, 2013.Wuhan, 2015.Enshi), has become one of the largest international conferences held by SPIE in our country. MIPPR is one of the most important international conferences in the field of image, a thematic discussion of the cutting edge issues in this field, the exchange and sharing of the latest research results, the promotion of cross-disciplinary information, knowledge Interchange, so as to promote the development of the technical field.

Following the success of the Ninth Meeting in Enshi, Hubei Province, the 10th SPIE International Symposium on Multispectral Image Processing and Pattern Recogniton (MIPPR2017) will be held on October 28-29, 2017 in Xiangyang, about 200 miles from Wuhan. Xiangyang is the second largest city in Hubei Province. It has a rich history, dating back 2800 years. Major battles were fought here during the Three Kingdoms period, approximately 191 A.D. Conference attendee will have the opportunity to visit historical sites and local attractions.

We sincerely welcome you to join us for this congress!

Topics of MIPPR2017

MIPPR2017 intends to bring together scientists, professors, engineers, and graduate students in the field and provide a forum for presentation and discussion of recent advances in theory, techniques, algorithms and applications in multispectral image processing and pattern recognition. In addition to contributed papers, keynote and invited talks by leading experts in the world are planned. We encourage you to submit your abstracts to the following conferences and topics.
Topics of MIPPR2017 will focused on, but not limited to:

  • Multispectral Image Acquisition
  • Multispectral Image Processing and Analysis
